If you've been lucky enough to get hold of a BlackBerry Passport, Classic or a leaked version of BlackBerry OS 10.3 you would have been able to make use of the BlackBerry Assistant, which is so much better than it used to be. For non-10.3 users, you'll still be itching to use the new assistant, but your needs should hopefully, be fulfilled soon.
In the meantime, I was wondering how happy current users are with the BlackBerry Assistant? It's one of those features that BlackBerry users have wanted for so long, as we've seen our rivals on other platforms making use of the likes of Siri, Google Now and Cortana. Now we have it, is it living up to your expectations?
On a personal note, I was initially stoked with the assistant but the novelty soon wore off. As a BlackBerry user, I'm used to doing things with two thumbs - not my voice. I have however found a place for it and that's when I'm in the car. Having the ability for the BlackBerry Assistant to read and reply to messages on the go is awesome and to be honest, this is really the only time I find myself utilizing the feature.
